I touched on anticipation in my latest newsletter and now it strikes again. Clearly I love movies. There is a list that many people have in their minds about movies that all "movie lovers" should see. One of those movies has managed to escape me (I’ve never tasted a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich either). Oddly enough it’s my dad’s favorite movie. It was also my college roomate’s favorite movie (you’re wondering what it is now aren’t you? See? Anticipation!). So how has this timeless movie classic eluded me? Especially since one of my favorite movies of all time is losely based on it (The Family Man– still anticipating or did you guess yet?). On top of that– I own it! It’s been in its plastic wrapper for two years. Then tonight over a Coffee Bean Hot Vanilla with peppermint, during a great conversation, "THE movie" came up again. I was so inspired by this man’s passion about this movie that tonight I’m taking it out of the plastic and popping it into the DVD player (before DVDs become obsolete). I’ll let you all know what I think about it in my next newsletter.
